The key to a successfully cooking Browns hash is getting the griddle and oil hot so that the Browns hash have something to fry in. Start out with a moderate amount of oil in which I personally prefer using Olive Oil Extra Virgin.

The Browns hash may be thawed or frozen, with the frozen version taking slightly longer to cook. If you’re using frozen Browns hash as I am, just cut them apart with the edge of the Blackstone spatula to create a uniform layer on the griddle.

After a few minutes push the Browns hash to the side, add Olive Oil Extra Virgin and flip the Browns hash onto the new oil.

Rep till they’re finished to your satisfaction. If you’re adding seasoning, such as Dizzy Pigs IPA, I recommend doing it after the second turn.

This enables the Browns hash to cook while preventing the seasoning from burning. Pull them out when they’re crispy to your preference, dish them, and enjoy!
